Daily Yoga Schedule
Sunday 29th August is the day to arrive, check in, settle, get ready for the next day.
Each day we will practise in the ‘Ocean Shala’ - a beautiful open Yoga space with stunning views of Talalla Beach.
Daily Yoga Schedule:
Morning Practice 9:00am - 11:00am (Independent Practice)
Afternoon Sessions 2:00pm - 5:00pm (varied topics to enhance your Yoga practice)
The only exceptions to this schedule will be on Thursday where we will finish early (12pm) to allow for some local sightseeing, and on the last day (Sunday) to allow for departure, or more sightseeing if you are staying on.
Style of Practice: Independent Practice means that you will practice your own personal sequence/s at your own pace with guidance and adjustments from Jean.
If you are an Ashtanga Practitioner you can practice your regular sequence/s. Jean has taught Ashtanga for over 20 years and can help you progress your practice.
Afternoon Sessions:
We will cover various topics including asana, pranayama, chanting, meditation and philosophy.
Delicious Food
Breakfast and Dinner are included in the accommodation price.
We will be eating at Talalla’s open-air restaurant, where only the finest local and seasonal produce is used for their delicious local and Western dishes. Sip on a king coconut and enjoy the gentle sea breeze as you savor gourmet flavors in the stunning open-air restaurant. Vibrant tropical fruit, crisp seasonal vegetables, and fresh local seafood are important to traditional Sri Lankan delicacies and international favorites.
Talalla is proud of their sustainable approach to food, sourcing local ingredients and produce from nearby markets and fishing villages, and much of the resort’s herbs and spices are grown organically on the property. Sit just steps from the ocean while you eat!
For lunch you can eat at Talalla’s restaurant or go to one of the nearby restaurants in Talalla Village. There are a few delicious options!
